He has influenced so much design that is still with us today.. As it is, it's going to be quite a while before I can hear that phrase without a flash of annoyance.Interesting personality, nice concept… poor execution.. In this book, Dr Ruth seems different; her voice is shallow, distant and repetitive. This book was chock full of interesting information that I never knew. This small book is a good look into the work of a designer whose work I admire. She is truly an amazing person.. Very easy to read, a must have for freelance illustrators! Also a great source of information, links, documents and more, from inspiration to taxes.. Didn't give 5 stars because for a Kindle book the price is higher than what I'm used to.still recommended though. She gives us examples from her own life. This book is great but unfortunately it was not it its original wrapping and had dirt and scuff marks on the cover - a real shame as the purpose of this book was to be displayed on my coffee table :(. She was so warm and inviting and gave such sound advice. Overall, a miss for me though I always look forward to hearing from Dr Ruth at different stages of her, and my own, life. . Gre

Behaviorists, or more precisely Skinnerians, commonly consider Skinner's work to have been misrepresented, misunderstood, and to some extent defamed. In this book, the author clarifies the work of B F Skinner, and puts it into historical and philosophical context

A substantial index, an attractive cover and typeface, and a readable style are bonuses to this exceptionally well-researched, accurate, and fair description of Skinner’s work.
