I am checking out Elicia White's Making Embedded Systems book, she has a video on youtube which I liked and I was able to understand.. Not only are there numerous (as in, at least one per page) spelling, grammar, and mechanical errors, the information is occasionally incorrect, and often repeats or contracticts itself. Very application-oriented, easy to use, well explained. Writing a book for it is not an easy task, but FreeBSD Unleased does it well. It is written in a rather stark and factual manner, which renders forth information in a most stark and ominous manner. Shame on you, I Spy!!. Overall, this text integrates a wide range of seminal literature and serves as an excellent introduction to the discipline of Information Science.
