Victoria and her husband have entered into a journey that a lot of aging couples in the United States find themselves negotiating. Locke shows that the smear just can't stick. It is geared to young boys and girls but anyone who likes a good story would enjoy it. It only lists the broad categories of dishes, not the names of individual dishes in the categories. So much for her being a symbol of humanity—Sofia is just as heartless as her 'captors.'Sofia's tale, like Bella's, starts with showing us that Sofia is a special snowflake with a "debilitating weakness" that is masked as a strength because she survives despite it. Some people thought the story would be uninteresting and make a boring movie; they couldn't be more wrong. (The chickpea tofu is fabulous!) The author has been very thoughtful in addressing the typical obstacles and has noted by the recipes appropriate variations (for example, for vegan).
