Didn't give 5 stars because for a Kindle book the price is higher than what I'm used to.still recommended though. I've actually just shot off a detailed email to a good friend of mine who is caring for someone with Dementia, with multiple lines from this book. Intriguingly, whilst set in an (unmapped) secondary world, there is no magic or mysticism in the novel at all, but this lack is barely felt.As for criticisms, the tight focus on Basso means we don't get much of a sense of the Republic or the wider world beyond his own views on it, but that's the point of the story, I suppose. The three instances of that were just ridiculous. However the principles about raising comb honey are the same. If you are into package design, YOU NEED THIS BOOK, it has an amazing collection o products in which the package is no only for protect but also a great visual presentation of the product. Jock's pay was stopped upon the minute the ship sank, and his father got an unbelievably heartless note asking him to remit a few remaining shillings which were wanting on Jock's uniforms and sheet music.
