Other 1 & 2 star reviews cover additional issues with the stories. I should know - this book gave me the solution for my son's difficult acne problem. It arrived as promised and everything else was fine.. He loves this handbook because it shows all the Pokemons from the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos regions. Deveriya is a network engineer who sets up networds using Cisco technology and products. This book is a very nice pictorial assembly of historic and new Jeeps (mainly CJ and Wrangler!) in all kinds of trail settings. Though I'm sure much of the attention will be paid to Rizzo's controversial decisions after 9/11, particularly the decisions regarding the so-called enhanced interrogation techniques, some of the most interesting parts of the book are Rizzo's lengthy path and rise through the ranks at the CIA. John Rizzo's book, "Company Man", is much like the author himself: smart, insightful, wry, self-deprecating, funny, and charming. He may not have been a spy operating out of some far flung outpost, but Rizzo makes the day-to-day functioning of the agency seem interesting in its own right--how the CIA deals with presidents (of all political stripes), Congress, the Justice Department, etc. Complete opposites. In Cooper's hands, this passionate love story also becomes an important new look at the work of both Ruskin and Millais with Effie emerging as a key figure in their artistic development. Married at nineteen to John Ruskin, the leading art critic of the time, she found herself trapped in a loveless, unconsummated union after Ruskin rejected her on their wedding night. Effie Gray, a beautiful and intelligent young socialite, rattled the foundations of England's Victorian age. Suzanne Fagence Cooper has gained exclusive access to Effie's previously unseen letters and diaries to tell the complete story of this scandalous love triangle. On a trip to Scotland she met John Everett Millais, Ruskin's protégé, and fell passionately in love with him. In a daring act, Effie left Ruskin, had their marriage annulled and entered intoI couldn't put it down.” Linda Lear, author of Beatrix Potter: A Life in Nature and Rachel Carson: Witness for Nature. We know so much about Ruskin and Millais – so little about the most influential woman in their lives. Suzanne Fagence Cooper elegantly brings to life the glittering world of Victorian art and the socially complicated one of a woman who wed the two cultural giants of the age and not only survived, but thrived! Effie's story is a haunting one. Her trail-blazing life makes a wonderful, rich book.” Emma Thompson“A refreshing re-examination of interesting questions about art, nature and life beyond the bounds of Victoria's England.” Kirkus“a lively and highly readable triple biography of these figures, the first one to focus on the woman at the center of this triangle.” The Washington Independent Review of Books“Effie Gray's story is extraordinary and Cooper feasts upon it with appetite…I cannot recommend Suzanne Fagence Cooper's biography of Effie Gray more highly to anyone with a heart, a liking for
